Giving Your Constructed Entities a Voice (#114)

Did you know that with ASTi’s Construct, it requires only a few steps to add voice interactions between constructed entities in your distributed radio environment?

  1. Add an entity in Construct and choose which DIS entity you want it to track.
  2. Select a net for your entity to chat away on.
  3. Select a unique voice for your entity to give them a little personality.
  4. Add an interaction between your entities with the text you want to them to transmit.

All done. You now have your constructed entities talking to each other to fill out your simulation.

Want more variety? You can drive the interactions from your host to create a dynamic radio environment with Construct.

Trying to reduce instructor workload and create a more interactive simulation? You can add speech recognition to your entities and automate their responses with Construct.
