What's New
- Voisus web interface: adds the Applications page, which enables users to centrally manage applications across multiple stations without individually applying updates to each station.
- Mission Audio Panel (MAP) Client: adds support for a simulated client that emulates the Large Digital Communication System MAP.
- Voisus web interface: adds the ability to download license server software from Downloads.
- Earshot: adds Ducking Gain on Viewpoints to reduce Earshot audio volume when public address audio is playing.
Improvements
- Voisus Client: enables the Connect button to retry connection attempts without requiring users to modify and revert connection settings.
- Earshot: applies Viewpoint channel output gain to Transmit Audio on Radio, ensuring consistent volume levels between speaker output and transmitted audio.
- Earshot: adds DIS Exercise selections for public address and Transmit Audio on Radio, enabling radio nets to operate on a different exercise than the viewpoint.
- Voisus: updates in-product documentation for Voisus 8.9.0.
Fixes
- Voisus server: on ASTi Server Diagnostics Report, prevents the displayed report date from resetting after a reboot.
- Voisus server: resolves an issue where reinstalling a scenario deleted all previous transmission logs instead of only purging incomplete, ongoing transmissions.
- Voisus server: resolves an issue where clients requesting information about deleted scenarios caused missing data on the web interface.
- Voisus web interface: resolves an issue where changing PRC-117F simulated hardware panel names resulted in an error.
- Radio Bridge: fixes an inconsistency where the Out Gain range on Radio Bridge Presets was limited to 0–30 instead of 0–200 to match Out Gain on Voice Rx/Tx.
- Earshot: resolves an issue where stopping a layout while viewing Earshot Statistics caused data in the Voisus web interface to stop updating.
- Voisus Client: on Audio, hides the speaker selection on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) clients that don't support it.
- Fixes other small bugs.
