Voisus Data Sheet

ASTi's Voisus platform delivers high-fidelity communications and audio over IP networks to a variety of user interfaces. The platform consists of a Voisus server running Voisus server software. Voisus client software GUIs can be downloaded to computers and tablets through the Voisus web interface.

Software Overview & Features

Voisus software consists of server and client software components that provide high-level features, such as the following:

• Secure, web-based management (https)
• Ethernet network-based architecture
• Secure Shell (SSH)
• Customer-programable interface:
  • HAPI: A HTTP Application Program Interface allows developers to create their own Voisus server web interfaces for creating exercise scenarios and managing client operators.
  • SAPI: A Streaming Application Program Interface allows developers to create their own apps that stream data from the Voisus server, such as a radio monitor displaying operator receive/transmit states.
  • VRCC Library: The Voisus Remote Control Client (VRCC) library provides an interface for developers to build custom communications client GUIs for computers and tablets.

Hardware Overview

The Voisus server is a dedicated audio-processing platform, providing optimized performance and reliability in communications exercises. Contact ASTi for other audio-processing options, such as virtual machines and cloud-based servers.
