Let's talk about audio cables. They are critical components of any ASTi audio solution, and we take an enormous amount of pride in their quality and performance. ASTi cables are made to the highest audio engineering standards.
But more than that, every audio cable is custom made. Your application requires unique combinations of audio connectors and cable lengths, depending on what you need to hook up. ASTi doesn't carry cables in stock hoping that someone will buy them at some point in time. We make them just for you.
That's why it's critically important for you to manually review and approve every cable drawing that we supply during the proposal phase and before issuing a purchase order. When we receive a purchase order, we immediately start creating these custom audio cables. Upon delivery, if you find that the cables are the wrong length or have the wrong connectors, they are now useless to everyone and must be recycled (if that's even possible).
Even worse, new cables must be constructed to replace incorrectly ordered items, costing you more money and delaying the delivery schedule.
So please be careful and precise when reviewing cable drawings from ASTi. If a buyer needs us to share drawings with technical or engineering staff, please ask. We wish to work as closely as possible with you to reduce waste, meet schedules, and ensure the success of your programs.
