Application 1: Driving an LED Using RIU Digital Outputs
Note: Applies to RIU versions A and B (indicated by part number: RIU-x-A, RIU-x-B, C21x-A, C21x-B) only.
Notes
- Circuit depicted is for RIU with 4-channel option. For standard 2-channel RIU, DO2 and DO3 are not active.
- Current through each DO circuit must not exceed 50 mA. Customer must select R(lim) and LED accordingly. Assume RIU DO circuit internal resistance of 5 ohms referenced to power return.
- Distribution of voltage is application-specific, and is provided by the customer.
