What's New
- Voisus: adds support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.
- Medium Control Audio Panel (MCAP) Radio Control Unit (RCU) client: the interface now preserves receive (Rx) selections when users change the transmit (Tx) select dial. Tapping and holding the Rx button turns off a radio’s Rx functionality.
- MCAP RCU client: adds support for keyboard press-to-talk (PTT) functionality, enabling users to assign custom keys to the two comm panels.
Enhancements
- Voisus server: adds support for Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) boot in the cold-start procedure.
- Voisus server: updates documentation for the 8.0.0 release.
- Voisus web interface: adds RHEL 8 Voisus Clients to the Downloads page.
- Voisus web interface: Cloud Monitor now indicates that servers recently added to the cloud need a reboot; an alert in the navigation bar enables users to reboot all servers, while the webpage enables them to reboot individual servers.
- Voisus Client: playback and capture command-line arguments now support wildcard (*) characters, enabling customers to automatically differentiate between multiple devices with similar prefixes.
Fixes
- Voisus web interface: sets user sessions to expire after eight hours by default.
- Voisus web interface: prevents the interface from crashing when multiple users exist or users navigate to Audit Logs.
- Voisus web interface: fixes an error preventing the server from discovering Ashly Power Amplifiers on the network.
- Voisus web interface: fixes an error preventing users from resetting their passwords.
- Voisus web interface: fixes a traceback error that occurred when users viewed Earshot Statistics.
- Voisus web interface: ensures certain versions of the web interface correctly display Cloud Load Balancer.
- Voisus clients: prevents clients from experiencing connection issues after closing and reopening.
- Voisus clients: prevents clients from connecting to a vehicle without radios in the associated role.
- Voisus Client for Tablets & Desktops: prevents the client from crashing when users set the voice-operated exchange (VOX) threshold.
- Voisus Client for Tablets & Desktops: ensures the client reestablishes its connection to a remotely controlled live radio after the Voisus server reboots.
- Remote Radio Control: ensures the URC-200 interface disconnects if the server loses connection to the live radio.
- Flex Client: fixes dynamic link library (DLL) errors preventing the client from running on a newly installed Windows machine.
- Fixes other small bugs.
