ASTi Support : Voisus 8.1.0 Release Notes

ASTi audio and I/O distribution devices use the following firmware version with this software release:

Voisus Client: users can now add a background sound effect to a radio directly from the client.
AI-Delta: adds wide-area network (WAN) support, enabling Voisus to access AI-Deltas via routers, including those using Network Address Translation.

Voisus Client: the press-to-talk (PTT) button now reflects the current transmit mode (e.g., VOX, HOT, OFF).
Voisus Client: makes enabled radio buttons more visibly distinct, improving usability.
Voisus Client: Radio Monitor only displays radios from the current exercise.
Medium Control Audio Panel (MCAP): increases the size of the CRSR button's touchpad, making it easier for users to select.
Simscribe Virtual Battlespace (VBS) add-in: synchronizes Simscribe playback when an after-action review playback pauses.

Voisus: ensures users can create backups using the acecontrol backup command.
Voisus web interface: prevents users from editing the default Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) exercise name on DIS > Exercises.
Voisus web interface: fixes a traceback error preventing users from importing scenarios that they created using the Empty Scenario template.
Construct: fixes an issue preventing users from copying files in Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML).
Radio Bridge: fixes an error preventing radio relays from properly load balancing, causing the cloud to contain multiple relays.
Remote radio control: URC-200 remote control radios now pause while a corresponding URC-200 radio bridge is transmitting, preventing unwanted microphone noise.
Fixes other small bugs.
