What's New
- Voisus: adds support for Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Bridges.
- Voisus Client: adds Startup Settings, enabling users to set the client's default size and screen location.
- Voisus Client: users can now assign nets to jammers via QuickTune.
- Flex Client: adds support for radio bridge over Internet Protocol (i.e., ED-137).
Enhancements
- Voisus: adds support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8.10.
- Voisus web interface: Radio Monitor adds a filter to view all radios on one page and filter by exercise ID, making it easier to monitor and troubleshoot across events.
- Voisus Virtual Battlespace (VBS) Add-in: to prevent confusion in labs with multiple servers, the Voisus client no longer auto-connects when the add-in starts, ensuring trainees connect to the correct server.
- Voisus server: updates in-product documentation for Voisus 8.5.0.
Fixes
- Voisus server: resolves an issue causing clients to cycle between “Acquiring License…” and “Waiting for response from IP Address” by improving error messaging and ensuring the server is accurately reporting the client's information.
- Voisus web interface: resolves a traceback error that occurred when switching from a running Flex Example to a Basic_Example scenario.
- Voisus web interface: resolves administrator login issues by preventing database conflicts that caused “Invalid username or password” errors.
- Radio Bridge: addresses issues with duplicate ID errors originating from ACENet device monitor and Radio Bridge actors.
- Radio Bridge: resolves audio breakup issues, improving ED-137 stream performance.
- Earshot: fixes an issue that prevented Ashly Power Amplifiers from producing audio.
- Voisus Client: on Settings > DIS, disables Reset IDs and Reset Exercise if restrictions are “Read Only.”
- Voisus Client: fixes an issue where the client failed to start for multiple Windows users, requiring manual termination to launch the client.
- Voisus Client: ensures the net's frequency and mode always populate when a user assigns a net to a radio or jammer via QuickTune.
- Voisus clients: resolves an issue that prevented users from running multiple clients as different users on RHEL 9.
- Voisus Client: corrects an issue with keyboard press-to-talk shortcuts on RHEL 7 and 8 clients, where certain keys were either unresponsive or incorrectly mapped.
- Flex Client: fixes a display error impacting hold tiles.
- Medium Control Audio Panel: adds separate host ports for left and right clients using --host-unicast, addressing a network setup issue requiring unicast User Datagram Protocol to both clients.
- PRC-148 radio skin: fixes an issue that rejected attempts to change the PRC-148 net from secure to plain when crypto keys were enabled.
- RC-721S remote radio control: ensures the radio can handle unsupported commands without frequent tracebacks and resolves intermittent connection issues on the radio control web page.
- Fixes other small bugs.
